Byron J. Beam is a highly respected trial attorney who has specialized in handling complex cases in the areas of medical malpractice, government tort claims, construction defects, land subsidence, products liability and toxic-environmental law claims.  Mr. Beam has tried numerous cases and is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.  David J. Brobeck, Jr., has successfully represented medical providers, governmental entities, and automobile and general liability insurers in major civil litigation for more than 35 years.  He has been a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates since 1981, with a better than 90% success rate in the nearly 100 jury trials that he has handled to verdict.

Managing partner, John E. West, has more than 25 years of trial experience, is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and is recognized for his successful handling of complex major injury cases and medical malpractice matters.  Fredrick M. Borges is widely respected for his expertise in the fields of healthcare law, including medical malpractice defense with representation of individuals, managed care organizations and medical facilities.  Mr. Borges has further experience as general counsel to a large IPA/Medical Group and a healthcare management company, handling a wide range of litigation and transactional matters including compliance and regulatory concerns, utilization management, quality assurance, and employment/risk management issues.

Stephen A. Rosa brings in excess of 25 years of trial experience as a trial attorney specializing in major injury cases and medical malpractice.  Mr. Rosa also handles complex litigation involving products liability, insurance coverage and bad faith, governmental tort claims, as well as trucking and auto accident cases.  He is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, having tried over 50 cases with a success rate of over 95%. 

Charles W. Matheis, Jr., a partner with the firm, has more than 25 years of trial experience, is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and adds additional expertise in the field of governmental entity, construction, civil rights, labor and employment law.
